Charles J. Patorgis, O.D. received his O.D. degree with honors from New England College of Optometry in Boston and his B.A. degree with highest honors from the University of New Hampshire in Durham. Postgraduate training included a residency in vision rehabilitation at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Patorgis won numerous awards as a graduate and undergraduate student, including election to Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa.
He previously served as director of optometric services at the Center for Sight in Florida, as an associate professor at the New England College of Optometry, and as low vision consultant to the Perkins School for the Blind in Massachusetts. Dr. Patorgis has a special interest in non-surgical eye care and provides consultative support to area optometrists.
